Direct Energy Live Brighter Scholarship!
Application Deadline:
September 30, 2016
Award Amount:
One $5000 award; two awards of $2,500 each
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a registered college student for the 2016-2017 school year
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be a resident of any of the states where Direct Energy offers energy services: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and D.C.
Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

Essay
Write a 500-word essay responding to the following question:

How do you live your life brighter within your community?
Or
Video
Create a 60- to 120-second video
Your video should begin with a 10-second full-screen “title screen” with the following information:
Producer’s name (AKA your name)
The name of the college or university you attend or plan to attend
The city and state of that college or university
The title of video
The total running time of your video (not including the 10-second title screen)
Your video should address the following question:

Shout It Out Scholarship
Application Deadline:
September 30, 2016
Award Amount:
$1,500
Eligibility Requirements:
Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application
Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2022) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

Visit the unigo website, submit an online short written response (250 words or less) for the question:
“If you could say one thing to the entire world at once, what would it be and why?”
The Shout It Out Scholarship winner will be notified by email or phone on or around December 30, 2016.

AXA Achievements Scholarship
Application Deadline:
December 15, 2016 or until 10,000 applications have been received, which ever comes first.
Award Amount:
$2,500, $10,000 and $25,000. Fifty-two (52) students will each receive a $10,000 scholarship. One recipient will be selected from each U.S. state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
From among these 52 recipients, ten (10) will be selected to receive an additional $15,000 scholarship. These national AXA Achievers will each be awarded scholarships totaling $25,000.
Approximately 300 students will be selected to receive a $2,500 scholarship. These will be chosen per AXA Advisors branch office.
Eligibility Requirements:
Be United States citizens or legal residents living or claiming residency in one of the 50 united states, Washington, D.C. or Puerto Rico.
Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2016-2017 academic year
Demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities.

Students should gather the following information needed for the application process:
List of involvement in school and community activities
List of work experience
Current high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale
The details of your outstanding achievement.
