Can you believe we are one week away from the start of October, it is crazy. I am sure most of you are settled into your classes, so take some time to apply for these scholarships. Future Engineers Scholarship Program

Award Amount:
$5,000
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be full-time student accepted into the School of Engineering. Scholarships will not be awarded to 1st Year undergraduate students, or those 4th Year undergraduate students who will be graduating on or before June of the award year. Students must have a minimum of a 3.0 (GPA).
To Apply:
Visit the scholarship website to download application materials. You need to demonstrate potential for and commitment to a career in engineering, as well as outstanding academic performance. You need to submit an essay in accordance with the prompt on the website. The essay must be between 800 and 1200 words,
Winners will be announced December 30, 2016

David B. Goldberg Scholarship

Award Amount:
Two awards of $5,000 each.
Eligibility Requirements:
All legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 16 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited high school or college are eligible to enter.
Dave Goldberg was a true innovator and had a deep love of music. He was also passionate about music education, scholarships are offered to students pursuing their own love of music.
To Apply:
Visit website for application materials. Show how you are creating, innovating, writing or performing music through a short essay and a one-minute video (uploaded to Instagram or YouTube) of your own original content. Videos will be judged on their creativity and how well they demonstrate your work in music production, creation, or innovation.
Please make sure your Instagram or YouTube posts are set to “Public,” . Show why music is a big part of your life and how it has influenced you and/or your education.
