Okay college students, here are three more scholarship opportunities for July.  You have two with mid July deadlines and one with a end of month deadline.  If you will be entering your Freshman year, here are some tips and advice from a group of college students who just finished up their freshman year.  Some great tips for you.  Now on to the scholarships.

Bank Mobile Scholarship

Award Amount:

$1,500

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate level students. You must demonstrate plans to enroll for full-time admission‚ or have proof of current full-time enrollment, at an accredited institution. Must be a U.S. citizens, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarship is open to all majors.

To Apply:

You must submit an essay (mazimum of 650 words) explaining the importance of financial literacy in both your life and career. Special consideration is given to applicants who are actively promoting financial literacy within their community.

You must include an official transcript (high school or college) along with the essay and application.

The student who is selected will be notified in mid-August, 2016.

$1,000 Safe Driver Scholarship

Application Deadline:

July 15, 2016

Award Amount:

$1,000

Eligibility Requirements:

Any student who is currently attending or planning to attend college or some form of higher education. Student must have a valid drivers license.

To Apply:

Visit the Car Insurance Comparison website  and complete the online application. You must create a form of social awareness that inspires other students to focus on safe driving. This can be a video, artwork, essay or anything that would engage other students to focus on safe driving. You will need to submit a link to your video, artwork, essay or creative element of your choice in the final step of the application form.

You will also need to complete a safe driver program. You do not need to complete a program listed on the website, if you have a drivers license you have most likely already completed a safe driving program.

Flavor of the Month Scholarship

Application Deadline:

July 31, 2016

Award Amount:

$1,500.

Eligibility Requirements:

U.S. resident. College undergraduate and graduate students and college-bound high school seniors.

To Apply:

You must submit an online short written response (250 words or less) for the question: “Summer and ice cream go hand-in-hand. In fact, July is National Ice Cream Month and that’s the inspiration behind this award. We think people are very similar to ice cream; some are nutty, others a little exotic, while some are very comforting. If you were an ice cream flavor, which would you be and why?”.
