Since the deadline is somewhat determined by the number of applicants, it’s important to apply early. Eligibility Requirements:
Open to all students enrolled in accredited academic institutions, and high school seniors who are enrolling upon graduation. Students of all majors and intended majors are welcome to participate. Applicants must be residents of the United states. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Students who have previously applied but have not been awarded as finalists are urged to reapply. Awards will be sent directly to the financial aid office of the institution of the finalist’s enrollment.

Visit Ship Dig website and complete the online application. Submit a 500-1000 word essay about the most interesting item you have ever received in the mail. This can be a letter or postcard, a package or gift, an advertisement, or any other parcel delivered by mail. Explain why this article of mail was so fascinating to you and how it has impacted your life.

U.S. Bank Financial Genius Scholarship Program

Award Amount:
Various awards up to $20,000
Eligibility Requirements:
Permanent legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia (excluding residents of New York and Florida, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other U.S. Territories) who are at least thirteen
(13) years old. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the consent of their
parent or legal guardian to enter. Must be a high school senior or current undergraduate college student at an eligible two or four year college or university.

Visit the US Bank website and complete the online application. You will be required to complete eight Financial Genius education modules. The tutorials are designed to take approximately 15-20 minutes each to complete. Topics include: Savings and Investments, Mobile Banking, Overdraft, Payment Types and Credit Cards, Credit Scores and Reports, Insurance and Taxes, Financing Higher Education and Identity Protection. AXA Achievements Scholarship
Application Deadline:
December 15, 2016 or until 10,000 applications have been received, which ever comes first.
Award Amount:
$2,500, $10,000 and $25,000. Fifty-two (52) students will each receive a $10,000 scholarship. One recipient will be selected from each U.S. state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
From among these 52 recipients, ten (10) will be selected to receive an additional $15,000 scholarship. These national AXA Achievers will each be awarded scholarships totaling $25,000.
Approximately 300 students will be selected to receive a $2,500 scholarship. These will be chosen per AXA Advisors branch office.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be United States citizens or legal residents living or claiming residency in one of the 50 united states, Washington, D.C. or Puerto Rico.
- Be current high school seniors who plan to enroll full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2016-2017 academic year
- Demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community or work-related activities.

Students should gather the following information needed for the application process:
- List of involvement in school and community activities
- List of work experience
- Current high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale
- The details of your outstanding achievement.
