Ewaste Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home-schooled students are also eligible. There is no age limit. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
To Apply:
The purpose of this scholarship is to help you understand the impact of e-waste and what can be done to reduce e-waste. Go to ewaste website here and complete the application form, including a 140-character message about e-waste. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about e-waste.
10 finalists will be selected based on the content of the 140-character message. The winner will be selected based on the content and creativity of the 500- to 1,000-word essay.

Community Involvement Scholarship
Application Deadline: May 1, 2016
Award Amount: Two $500 Awards
Eligibility requirements:
You must be a U.S. Citizen or be authorized to work/attend school in the United States. You must be entering your first year of college at the beginning of the next academic year (August 2016).

The scholarships are designed to encourage and reward the dedication of an exemplary individual who is deeply involved in the community that surrounds them. McNeely Stephenson believes in good citizenship and recognition for those who support their local communities through direct involvement, meaningful commitment, and generosity of their time and efforts.
Go to the web site here and complete the Scholarship Application Form. You will submit an -Essay outlining the description of past community service efforts and how the award will enhance education and future service opportunities.
Winning essay will be judged on the length of community service history; depth of dedication to the community and ability to clearly convey a complex message.
The successful applicant will be notified on June 15, 2016. A check for $500 will be made payable to the applicable school and mailed by August 1, 2016.

The Dutch Crafters Amish Furniture Heritage Scholarship
Application Dead Line: May 1, 2016
Award Amount: 3 Awards of $500 each
Eligibility:
Enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited 4-year undergraduate institution located in the United States of America. Be a U.S. citizen or maintain legal residency within the United States. Have achieved a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Must have applied for federal financial aid (FAFSA). Students from all disciplines and fields of study are invited to apply.
To Apply: Visit Dutch Crafters Amish Furniture. The application consists of three parts:
Part 1) Application
Part 2) Statement of Financial Need
Part 3) 750 Word Essay
Essays are expected to be written in a formal paragraph form. Spelling and grammar will be considered in selecting the top essays. Style and creativity will also be taken into account.
Recipients will be announced on the Dutch Crafters Facebook page on July 1, 2016. A formal confirmation process will begin once winners are announced. Two reserve finalists will be selected by the scholarship committee in case winners cannot validate/support financial and academic claims/allegations made in their applications resulting in ineligibility.
Scholarship recipients are selected based on the following factors:
1) Academic achievement and financial need
2) GPA of 3.0 or higher
3) The essay component of the application
