Here are two new scholarships to apply for this month. Both scholarships are fairly simple to apply for and neither require an essay. So get busy and apply today!
Chevy Scholarship NASCAR Diversity
Application Deadline:
October 15, 2016
Award Amount:
Three scholarships, ranging from $10,000.00; $5,000.00; and $2,500.
Eligibility requirements:
Legal resident of the United States, between the ages of 18 and 25 at the time of entry. Must be in good standing currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited college or university within the United States, and have or create a free account on the YouTube platform.
To Apply:
In a 90 second video, demonstrate one technology used in NASCAR, an issue it resolved, and how STEM professionals came to its design. Be creative as you like with tools or materials to illustrate and explain the design.
(Examples, but not limited to: Track Banking, Safer Barrier Walls, Drafting, Gas Mileage, Tire Wear, Ethanol Fuel, Solar Energy, etc.)

Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Four-Year Awards for Seniors
Application Deadline:
October 31, 2016
Award Amount:
250 awards with funds of $10,000 and $20,000.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be high school seniors attending school in the US; must be U.S. citizens, U.S. Nationals, or permanent residents; must be seniors anticipating completion of a high school diploma during the academic year in which application is made; must be seniors planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. postsecondary institution; and must be carrying a minimum 3.0 GPA at the end of their junior year of high school.

Visit the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and complete the online application. This initial online application requires you to list your grades, school and community activities, and employment, but no essays or additional materials are required.
